I had an amazing evening as I celebrated my baby brother, who is essentially like my own son as I played a huge part in his life raising him!! On Saturday, March,31, 2025 we celebrated his 33rd year right here at the newly opened Cooper’s Hawk here in Schereville and I highly recommend this restaurant for your dining pleasure! Our server was the awesomely talented Jacqueline!!!! Jaqueline went above and beyond the call of duty remaining top tier level professional!! Jacqueline and the staff was serving 10’s across the board from the front desk to the table!!!! By the way, I did happen to meet a young lady by the name of Ella who isn’t 21 years of age yet, if my memory serves me correctly, she is a busser who was helping out the front of the house staff amazingly, In fact, I remember speaking with her from dropping of flowers & dessert for my reservation a little earlier that eve before my reservation that’s how I got to know her!! Olivia is an excellent addition to your front desk team as well because of the way she handled me from speaking with me initially over the phone a few times, to my arrival with party for my reservation!! Olivia left no stone unturned, she was friendly, passionate, professional, knowledgeable of the restaurant, considerate and kind, as she and Jaqueline anticipated my needs and helped my party through & awesome evening !! I remember telling Ella that I thought she’d make an excellent server and that she was in the right business and could go a long way in the business and she graciously thanked me having told me that she really enjoyed working at Coopers Hawk!! Kudos to Jaqueline my server for being so superb in her service to our table, Olivia host extraordinaire and to the beautiful and talented Ella (busser) who helped out the front desk team with passion, enthusiasm, and excellence as she escorted my party and I to our perfect table telling us things about the restaurant along the way, Ms. Ella is a diamond scheduled to be a super star in this business thank you for hiring such a stellar staff!! There was a manager by the name of Jason who stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our evening and had everything we needed!! Kudos to this amazing restaurant & staff!!!!!!
I’ve been to Cooper’s Hawk in Schererville several times since it opened, and each visit has been a fantastic experience. The wine ambiance is excellent—warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out. I especially enjoyed the Bordeaux blend from the barrel. The food has also been consistently great and priced well, making it a go-to spot for both casual outings and special occasions. On our most recent visit, manager Brandon Porter quickly stepped in and resolved a last minute reservation adjustment on our end. His professionalism and attentiveness made all the difference, making sure we had a memorable and enjoyable date night. Highly recommend this location for great food, excellent wine, and top-notch service!
Went to lunch at Cooper’s and it was amazing! Our server Monica was very knowledgeable about menu items and was so pleasant. We had the filet mignon, braised short ribs, sausage flatbread and Caesar salad. Everything was so delicious! Also save room for dessert. The flourless chocolate torte and the carrot cake were to die for!
This was our first time at this location and everything was AMAZING. It’s Valentine’s Day so it’s busy but with the layout it doesn’t feel crowded and the atmosphere still feels cozy and intimate. Even with it being a busy holiday our server Aaron Ford was funny, charismatic and took such good care of us. He was frequently available for everything we needed and checked in often. The wait for food was reasonable and barely noticeable with how quickly our drinks and appetizer was ready. All of the food was perfect as well. I honestly can say I’ve never had a better time at Cooper’s Hawk than I had tonight. (Almost didn’t snap a photo with how good the food looked but I’m glad I did!)
Did a wine tasting earlier in the week and got some really good suggestions from Jessica. Service was so good we went back for lunch and a tasting on Sunday! Tasting room attendant, Jessica walked me through my very first blind tasting which was fun and our meal after was perfect. Can't wait to return!
This was my husband & I first time coming here. We had other reservations for Long Horn but we came here for our wine tasting first but then after being inside for only 5 to 10 minutes, we didn't want to leave! So even tho it was 5pm AND Valentines Day, they accommodate us with a very nice table without any wait involved. Along with bringing all our wine tasting glasses with us to our table. Everyone from start to finish was amazing! A SPECIAL THANKS to our waitress ALISA.. who was beyond great and very attentive to our needs. And also chose all our foods that also was on point! And because their was a slight hold up on our main meals.. the manager himself came out and apologized and also gave us free meals and appetizers for next visit. Also offered free dessert but we turned it down. THE PLACE AND EVERYONE WHO WORKS HERE MADE OUR VALENTINES GREAT AND MORE THAN MEMORABLE. We are now proud members of the winery club! Thank yall so much keep up the great work and hospitality!!
We’ve been to all the Cooper’s Hawk locations since this restaurant group has been franchised, and in our opinion, this is by far the best location. For our first visit at this location, our waiter Luke was incredible! He was patient, genuine, attentive, and fun-spirited. He provided excellent drink and food recommendations as well. The food at this location tastes much better than the other locations I’ve visited. It’s flavorful, cooked to perfection, and actually looks like the pictures. We went for Saturday brunch and had the brunch sangria, the egg rolls, and the carne asada tacos and everything was a 10/10. This is now our go-to CH location. The vibes from everyone were helpful and enjoyable, the food was excellent, and the setup is interactive.
Today I’ve had the pleasure of meeting two amazing employees here. Antonio and Tee was so awesome and very helpful. They definitely made my experience so much better. They were very knowledgeable of all the wines I requested. In my opinion they need a raise. Guys keep up the great work!
